I’m an academic philosopher specializing in philosophy of mind and emotion and philosophy of technology as they intersect with social ontology and trans and feminist philosophy. I approach philosophical research in an interdisciplinary way, including sociology and social psychology in my work. I work primarily on scripts, social interaction, emotion, injustice, transness, gender, masculinity, and social media.
Together with Imke von Maur, I am the PI of the Network for Critical Emotion Theory (funded by DFG, 2026-2028).

My book „Scripts and Social Cognition: How We Interact with Others“ was published with Routledge in early 2025.
Currently, I’m an assistant professor (non-TT) (Wiss. Mitarbeiter*in zur Habilitation) at the Philosophy of Mind group at the Institute of Cognitive Science at Osnabrück University. Here, I am working on my habilitation on emotional injustice and gender.
In September 2025, I was a Visiting Research Fellow at University of Pardubice, Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, with Laura Candiotto.
Previously, I was Postdoc and Lecturer at the University of Bayreuth (Germany), Postdoctoral Fellow on my grant project on Scripts and Bias in Social Interaction (2023), Lecturer (2023), and Deputy Professor for Epistemology in Bayreuth (2022). And before that, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Education Ludwigsburg (2019-2022).
I completed my Ph.D. in philosophy at the Berlin School of Mind and Brain, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and Freie Universität Berlin in 2019, under the supervision of Jan Slaby and Jesse Prinz. During my PhD, I spent several months at The Graduate Center, City University of New York.
